Ontario is helping Oshawa families hurt by the closure of IQT Solutions.
Through Employment Ontario, a new Action Centre will open on July 29th to help laid-off IQT workers find a new job, get employment counselling or go back to school.
The Employment Ontario IQT Action Centre will be located at 272 King St. E in Oshawa, above the Employment Ontario office.
This is part of the McGuinty government's plan to help all Ontarians turn the corner and get the education and training they need for the jobs of the future.
Through this Action Centre, Oshawa is coming together to support family, friends and neighbours who have been affected by the actions of IQT Solutions. I encourage all the workers to take advantage of the Action Centre and find the help they need to find a new job."

The job market is changing drastically.
New technologies and changing economic climates have shifted the job markets significantly. Traditional careers and job markets have been pushed aside for more technology and service based jobs.
To make matters worse the new Global economy has tightened the already strained job market even further.
With a large number of our own members effected by these changes we are striving to assist as many of these people as we can through our Action Centre and this companion website.
